On Tuesday, January 12 (23 Dey), the team visited industrial facilities including the Gardoun Gas Spring Industry Company, the Oil Refinery in Avangan Industrial Town, and the Zagros Plast West Polyethylene Pipe Manufacturing Company.
During these visits, the production units presented their operational procedures and the challenges they face. University faculty and industry specialists provided their professional perspectives and proposed solutions. Following the positive reception from the visited companies, it was agreed that subsequent meetings would be held at the University of Kurdistan's Office of Industry and Society Relations. These sessions will explore potential avenues for formalizing research contracts and memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with the University of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Province Science and Technology Park to address the operational challenges of these production units.
