According to the latest data released by the prestigious Elsevier global database and analyses conducted by Stanford University, Dr. Jalil Fathi, a distinguished faculty member of the University of Kurdistan, has been ranked among the top 2% of the world's most-cited scientists. This remarkable success serves as a testament to the University of Kurdistan's eminent scientific standing in the arena of international research and the profound scientific impact of its researchers.

The list of highly cited scientists is compiled based on precise composite indicators, including total citations, h-index, hm-index, authorship position (single, first, and last author), and the ratio of citations to distinct papers. These indicators are designed to measure the quality and scientific impact of researchers on a global scale. Dr. Teymoor Malmir

Membership in the Scientific Council of the Islamic Revolution Persian Literature Group
Pursuant to a decree issued by the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, Dr. Teymoor Malmir, a faculty member of the Department of Persian Language and Literature at the University of Kurdistan, has been appointed as a member of the Scientific Council of the "Islamic Revolution Literature Group" within the Academy.

 

 

Dr. Bakhtiar Sajadi

The Sole Iranian Member of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Kurdish Language and Literature
In a distinguished scientific and cultural achievement, Dr. Bakhtiar Sajadi, a faculty member at the University of Kurdistan, has been elected as the sole Iranian representative to the Scientific Council of the Academy of Kurdish Language and Literature (Kurdish Academy). This appointment further consolidates the University’s preeminent standing in the field of Kurdish studies.
According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, this valuable international achievement was realized when Dr. Sajadi, a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature and a founding member of the Department of Kurdish Language and Literature at the University, received his appointment decree from the President of the Kurdish Academy.

Headquartered in Erbil (Kurdistan Region of Iraq), the Academy is the sole official authority on Kurdish language and literature, with a Scientific Council comprising 25 prominent scholars from around the world. Dr. Bakhtiar Sajadi’s presence as the only Iranian member in this prestigious international scientific assembly reflects his expertise and distinguished global scientific reputation, constituting a great honor for the academic community of the University and the country. As the first Head of the Department of Kurdish Language and Literature at the University of Kurdistan, he has played a pivotal role in the establishment and development of this discipline.
